Gena has once again written a captivating zombie story with so much more in it and made a second book better than the first. 

You meet Cole and Ali in the first book, never once has either had a vision until they meet each other, and they have never had a vision with anyone else, that is until Gavin. Ali has some major abilities, more so than the rest of the slayers. And before I can tell you more about this I want to let you in on these slayers and zombies...since I didn't right a review on the first book. These Zombies are not like the zombies we see on tv or read in other books...these zombies eat you from the inside out. They want your soul. The slayers, they have to fight in spirit form, not in human form and they can manifest a lighted fire that will ash a zombie instantly...this is the only way to truly kill a zombie.

Justin used to work for the hazmats (these are the ones who are experimenting on zombies instead of killing them and later we find out that they are making new ones from cancer patients...) but now he is back with the slayers. Justin gets bit by a zombie and then in return bites Ali before an antidote is administered....this causes Zombie Alice to start growing inside her. Now I don't want to give too much details about the story so I will just sum it up....

Ali struggles to keep Zombie Alice at bay, Cole and her break up then end up back together, in the end after fighting the hazmats, they figure out that the lighted fire will cure Ali. 

The book leaves me wanting more, so I am wondering if there will be a third book. Over all, I give this book 4 amazing stars!
