Do you believe in fate?

In the Edge of Never by J A Redmerski we meet twenty year old Camryn Bennett.  Camryn has had a hard life, her dad left her mom, her brother Cole is in jail, and her high school sweetheart Ian was killed in a car accident.  With all that has happened to her it leaves her with a fear that everyone she loves goes away or dies.  After her friend Nat does not believe her when she tells her about her boyfriend saying he loved Camryn not Nat she decides she needs to get away. Camryn goes to the bus station with no destination in mind and buys a ticket to a random place based on what the ticket person was eating.

While on the bus Camryn meets the mysterious and tattooed Andrew. This is where you have to wonder if you believe in fate.  At first Camryn will not talk to Andrew and trys her best to ignore him. Along the trip they become friends and she learns that he is going to visit his dying father. When they get to Andrew's stop neither one of them wants to part from each other. After Andrew saves Camryn from a bad situation she decides to go with him to see his father.

After they visit Andrews father he talks Camryn into going with him on a road trip in the car his father gave him.  Andrew and Camryn just go where the road takes them. Along the road trip Andrew makes Camryn try new things like singing in a bar with him.  They end up falling in love and everything seems perfect. When they arrive at Andrews house in Texas she finds out that Andrew has been keeping a huge secret from her.  I don't want to give away the secret, but it is one that makes Camryn face her biggest fear.  I love this book because I love road trips and I wish I could just say screw this small town and go on the road wherever I want. I will write about the next book on the seieris soon.
