We met Connor in From Ashes, after Cassidy left he was in a zombie-like state. Maci lives next door to Connor and is the sister of his two best friends, Dylan and Dakota. She also has two more brothers, all four are completely and overboardly (yea pretty sure I just made up a word) too protective of her. She can't let them know of any relationship so that is why she just has a friends-with-benefits thing going on with Bryce...who by the way is amazingly stupid!

Connor and Maci have known each other forever, and it takes some old prancing techniques to bring Connor back to his old self. My favorite prank is the kool-aid in the shower thing! While all of this pranking goes on, they begin to show their feelings for each other, but when they become an item, they have to hide it.

That is until Connor decides to tell her brothers, which didn't go over so well and they were horrible to him! 

I don't want to give away too much, but I do have to say Maci and Connor has a happily ever after! This is a hilarious read with hot steamy sex! Literally.
