The Ever After of Ella and Micha by Jessica Sorensen

  If you have not read the Ella and Micha series you should, it is a great story about love, friendship, and how sometimes people have really bad stuff thrown at them but they over come it. At the end of The Temptation of Lila and Ethan, Ella had stood Micha up at the alter.  So at the begining of this book Micha if freaking out trying to find Ella to see what is going on.  The whole way to their house he is worried that she ran again and he won't we able to find her.  Ella got a package containing her mother's journal and some sketches. Getting the package freaked her out and made her start to worry again about going crazy like her mother did.

 Micha talked to her and they decided to have a Christmas wedding back home with their families. The whole drive back Ella is worried about turning out like her mother and sticking Micha and any kids they have with taking care of her like she did her mom. At this point I am a little worried that she is not going to marry Micha. As Ella starts to read her mothers journal she wonders if Micha will regret marrying her in their future.  It is a good thing she has a good friend in Lila because she can distract her for a little while. When Lila gives Ella her gift she had some guy that worked at a sex store pick out I cracked up because when the guys walk in and see what the gift is they bust out laughing. That is so mine and my friends luck, it seems guys know just when to walk in and catch us girls talking about or doing something embarrassing.

  I have to say that Micha is one of the sweetest guys ever. I love his tattoo for Ella "I'll always be with you, inside and out. Through hard times and helpless ones, through love, through doubt." I love how the book goes back to when Ella and Micha were children, and how they were always there for each other. Micha finally sings Ella the song he wrote for her when they were younger. The song was so intense and beautiful. Ella decides that she will quit her job and go on tour with Micha.

  After all kinds of drama like Ella getting into a fight with a guy and getting a black eye they finally get married. The wedding was described so beautifully and I love their vows. This was the perfect ending to Ella and Micha's story. All of Jessica's book deal with some kind of issue. Callie and Kayden deals with abusive parents and how to deal with rape, and Nova deals with grieving for the loss of a loved one. I would recommend any of her books for you to read.
