Until You by Penelope Douglas

 I loved Bully and was so glad when she decided to write Jared's story. In his story we get to see what was going through his head when he was being mean to Tate. We also get to see what he was doing when Tate left for the year. When we learned what Jared's dad did to him it broke my heart. Jared is trying anything and everything to keep his mind off of Tate being gone. He is getting into fights and sleeping around. Jared has a huge heart and loves his younger half brother Jax to death and would do anything for him like getting thrown in jail for getting in a fight with his foster father. Jared has a lot to deal with on top of trying to help his half brother his mom is an alcoholic.

  If Jared would have told Tate how he felt about her when they were younger he could have saved himself some heartache. Jared and his friend Madoc are a couple of dorks and will have you cracking up. I loved Until You because it was not just a retelling of Bully in Jared's point of view, we get more in the end and I love it. This book has a killer play list with a lot of my favorite bands, and Jared gets Tate tickets to see Avenged Sevenfold!! (that makes him the perfect guy! Matt Shadows enough said! LOL) I am super excited to get Madoc's story next.
