Embrace ( Evolve Series book 2) by S.E. Hall

  This is just as good if not better than the first book Emerge. Layne has left Evan heartbroken and all alone at a new college ( or so he thinks). Sawyer takes him in and tries to helps him. Evan is slowly becoming part of the group and starting to hang with Layne. Evan starts to hang out with Whitley who is not the person we thought she was from the first book.

  This book is not a sad book like I thought it was going to be, it is about Evan trying to move on and still being friends with Layne. There are many hilarious parts to this book. I think my favorite one was when Evan and Whitley got high and went to get tattoos. Evan starts to have feelings for Whitley but he is scared to do anything about them because of what happened with Layne. In the end Evan and Whitley get their shit together.

 

 I love this series because it shows you that sometimes you think you have found your soul mate but that may not be the case. Everyone is in your life for a reason. I can't wait to start Entangled to get more of Dane and Laney!! This is another 5 start read!

Shattered Ink (Wicked Ink Chronicles) by Laura Wright

Ok, so this is a short read again, but it is welcomed. This book goes into the emotional wreckage that comes with long distance relationships. Addison is completely and utterly in-love with Rush, but she is worried that she is being one of those crazy psycho bitches. What she doesn't know until the end is that Rush feels the same way about her.

Rush gets her name tattooed on his hand, she finds out when she flies in to see him, decides to get his name on her arm, but then drama occurs with the ex girlfriend of Rush who also is making a guest appearance at Wicked Ink...

In the end they figure out how to make things work and during graduation Rush and Vincent show up while Lisa's (Addison's BFF) family is there...of course they are super proper and don't like the whole tattoos everywhere thing so they set her up with someone...

The next book Rebel Ink will be about Lisa and Vincent and should be released sometime this year!

First Ink is a short read, but it is good and FREE! As with all love story books it begins with a guy and a girl and normally one of the two make some huge mistake and later on through the book they reconnect and their love never died. 

It is the same for this one, though in a shorter version. Addison and her friend Lisa are in college and they drive to a tattooing convention in Vegas to see Addison's lost love, Rush, which is a now famous tattoo artist. 

After her friend manages to get Addison up on stage with Rush, who by the way has ignored her every attempt of contact for the last 5 years, they reconnect as he doesn't finish her tattoo and tells her she needs to come by his shop that night. She does as he requests and the rest is history. 

The next day she is supposed to leave to go back to school but instead goes back to Wicked Ink to confess her crazy love for Rush in front of everyone. And that is their happily ending. 

The second book to Wicked Ink Chronicles is called Shattered Ink and I will do a blog on it shortly :)
