Ember X is a 5 star read just like Jessica's other books!! Ember is the strange girl in the town and most people call her a murderer because right before her father diapered she called the police to tell them that he was going to be murdered. Ember acts strange because she can see the death of anyone that touches her and you would think this would be cool but it is driving her crazy.

 

Ember finds herself attracted to the two new boys in town Asher( I am team Asher) and Cameron. Both guys claim to not know the other but you can tell that the have some tension.  Ember finds herself caught up in the battle between angels and grim reapers! The only questions she needs to find the answers to are why is she involved and which sides do Asher and Cameron fall under?

Bad For You (Sea Breeze #7) By Abbi Glines

Bad For You is part of the Sea Breeze series but can also be read as a standalone.

 

 

I love Abbi's books because she can show you that you should not judge a book by it's cover. I knew that there was something special about Krit when he was with Jess in Misbehaving. Krit is not just the hot, tattooed, and pierced lead singer of a rock band. He can be totally sweet and caring for the ones that he lets in.

 

Blythe has had a hard life of being told that she is ugly and no one will ever love her so the first chance she gets she moves away to go to Sea Breeze. The very first person she meets is Krit and right off the bat they have this connection that can't be denied. Krit is not use the sweet girls that don't just through themselves at him ; he normally just goes for the easy lay but things are different between him and Blythe.

 

Once they finally get together some uber slut comes in and threatens to ruin the love between them. In the end they have everything worked out and seem to be really happy. Bad For You was another great addition to the Sea Breeze series and I rate it with 5 stars!!!

Burn(Blood and Roses 3) by Callie Hart

Holy shit Batman!!! This series just gets better and better and you can't help but to fall more and more in love with Zeth.

I think we need a Zethoholic support group lol!

Zeth and Sloane have a big problem in trying to save her sister because they have to convince the top dogs at the compound that they are not up to anything fishy. Like normal, the sex between Zeth and Sloane is hot and Kinky as hell!!

Zeth and Sloane are developing deeper feelings for each other more than they want to admit to; so they start putting their guard up some. Burn is full of drama and surprising turns that will have you wanting the next book right now!!

And a fan she was! Iris Taylor (Ris, or Ritz, depending on who was speaking to her) had an incredibly tough life. Her father was a complete bastard leaving her at the worst time. Her mother died, shortly after her Grandmother died, and she was broke because she and her family spent everything they had for her cancer treatments. So she goes to stay in Austin with her half-brother, Sonny, who is in the Widow's MC. 

That is when she meets Dex Locke. He owns the tattoo shop that her brother got her a job at. Dex is also in the MC. He is tall, tattooed and pierced if you know what I mean! He is also a complete jerk who needs anger management classes! But he becomes her jerk!

“Babe, I've handpicked everythin’ and everyone in here. I know what I want and I get what I want,” he breathed. “And I keep what’s mine.” 

And that is exactly what he does! 

Things go bad when her father owes another club and the mafia money, but hey, DEX TO THE RESCUE! And ladies how awesome is it he has a captain America shield tattooed above one of those fine muscular and pierced pectorals! 

In the end they finally get everything situated, Dex and Ritz are in love and have amazingly good sex! Damn, my mouth is watering just thinking of his down under piercing! LOL. Oh, and they are so good together they are making a baby Locke! LOL. 

I rate this book 4 out of 5! It is a long book! and worth the read!

RAW by Belle Aurora

I want to start off by saying I would so not mind for Twitch to be my stalker!!

This was a WTF did I just read kind of book but it is the good kind of WTF. This line sums up the book very well "Love is love. It don't discriminate. And it sure as fuck don't wait 'till you're ready for it."

Lexi knows she has a stalker but she tells no one about him. One night when she is attacked her stalker saves her and this is where we meet the tattooed and pierced Twitch. Twitch is an odd man but Lexi sees something in him. I know you probably think it is weird that she starts to see her stalker but there is something about Twitch that Lexi can't let go.

Twitch is very messed up and makes you very mad during the book. I am not going to give anything away about the ending so all I am going to say is that I have a love/hate feeling about the ending.

RAW is not a normal love story but love never comes in one form. This book is full of steamy moments, drama, and a ton of WTF moments but it is so worth the read. I rate this book with a 4 out of 5 stars!

Embrace ( Evolve Series book 2) by S.E. Hall

  This is just as good if not better than the first book Emerge. Layne has left Evan heartbroken and all alone at a new college ( or so he thinks). Sawyer takes him in and tries to helps him. Evan is slowly becoming part of the group and starting to hang with Layne. Evan starts to hang out with Whitley who is not the person we thought she was from the first book.

  This book is not a sad book like I thought it was going to be, it is about Evan trying to move on and still being friends with Layne. There are many hilarious parts to this book. I think my favorite one was when Evan and Whitley got high and went to get tattoos. Evan starts to have feelings for Whitley but he is scared to do anything about them because of what happened with Layne. In the end Evan and Whitley get their shit together.

 

 I love this series because it shows you that sometimes you think you have found your soul mate but that may not be the case. Everyone is in your life for a reason. I can't wait to start Entangled to get more of Dane and Laney!! This is another 5 start read!

She has done it again! This book is just wow!

If you like MMA or underground fighting books with tattooed muscular men, then this book is for you.

Dani had a hard life growing up and now that she is on the run, her survival instincts kick in. She used to work at a motel on a bad side of town, that is until one night changed it all.

Dani and her friends go to an underground fight in the Bronx one night, she had to leave early to go to work, but not before she sees a gorgeous muscled back with a very distinct tattoo on it. That night changed her life forever as a bookie dies in her hotel and she steals the money ($250,000) and then slips town when she realizes whose money it was!

She misses her departure on a bus when she runs into 'John' in SC, they get very steamy and I mean steamy! Then she finds out who he really is...the very same dragon tattooed muscular back who just so happens to work as an underground fighter sent to retrieve the stolen money. He knew all along who she was.

In the end they decide to run together, that is until one phone call changed everything.

The next book comes out in the spring, and believe me when I say I am impatient! 4 fighter stars going up!

Shattered Ink (Wicked Ink Chronicles) by Laura Wright

Ok, so this is a short read again, but it is welcomed. This book goes into the emotional wreckage that comes with long distance relationships. Addison is completely and utterly in-love with Rush, but she is worried that she is being one of those crazy psycho bitches. What she doesn't know until the end is that Rush feels the same way about her.

Rush gets her name tattooed on his hand, she finds out when she flies in to see him, decides to get his name on her arm, but then drama occurs with the ex girlfriend of Rush who also is making a guest appearance at Wicked Ink...

In the end they figure out how to make things work and during graduation Rush and Vincent show up while Lisa's (Addison's BFF) family is there...of course they are super proper and don't like the whole tattoos everywhere thing so they set her up with someone...

The next book Rebel Ink will be about Lisa and Vincent and should be released sometime this year!

First Ink is a short read, but it is good and FREE! As with all love story books it begins with a guy and a girl and normally one of the two make some huge mistake and later on through the book they reconnect and their love never died. 

It is the same for this one, though in a shorter version. Addison and her friend Lisa are in college and they drive to a tattooing convention in Vegas to see Addison's lost love, Rush, which is a now famous tattoo artist. 

After her friend manages to get Addison up on stage with Rush, who by the way has ignored her every attempt of contact for the last 5 years, they reconnect as he doesn't finish her tattoo and tells her she needs to come by his shop that night. She does as he requests and the rest is history. 

The next day she is supposed to leave to go back to school but instead goes back to Wicked Ink to confess her crazy love for Rush in front of everyone. And that is their happily ending. 

The second book to Wicked Ink Chronicles is called Shattered Ink and I will do a blog on it shortly :)

Love and Tattoos by Lissa Marthews

 This is a short story about Brax and Annie. Brax is the hot Tattooed best friend and business partner of Annie's brother. Brax has always had a thing for Annie but did not want to mess up his friendship with her brother. While her brother is out of town Brax decides to make his move. Things get really steamy between them and they decided to give an relationship a try. This was a good book (very short) the only compliant I have is the ending. Conflicted Love(Needles Kiss 2) by Lola Stark

  Another great book from Lola! This book has plenty of serious moments and funny ones. I will NEVER hear I'm a little teapot without thinking of Trip lol. Trip and Teeny both had to do some growing up when they found out they were going to be parents. After some ups and downs they finally got their shit together. At the end we have some drama with Jude that has me excited for his book in June. This book is so worth the read, you can't read it and not laugh.

Lila and Ethan Forever and Always by Jessica Sorensen

  This is just a short story about Lila and Ethan. Their road trip is coming to an end and Lila is worried about her future with Ethan. Lila wants to know where they will be years down the road but Ethan don't like to think about the future.

After Ethan sees that he has upset Lila he starts to think about the future. He knows that he loves her, Lila is his best friend. After some thought he knows that he don't want to get married right now so he decides that they should get matching tattoos to show they are commited. I love the tattoos they got because they fit them perfectly. I hope that Jessica writes one more book to let us see how Ethan and Lila ended up and how Ella and Micha are doing.
