Lead (Stage Dive 3) by Kylie Scott

OH JIMMY!!!

Kylie has brought us another great addition to the Stage Dive series!! Mal will always be my favorite but Jimmy gave him a run for his money!!

Jimmy has more problems than we thought he did from the other two books and the outspoken and hard headed Lean is just the one to keep him in line. Lena takes no crap from Jimmy and fits right into the group. Jimmy has a past that his bother don't even know about that will break your heart.

Lena is helping Jimmy get over some of his demons and things start to change between them until Jimmy goes and does the normal guy thing and screws everything up! Can Jimmy win back the only girl that he wants more with or is he too scared to fight for what he wants? You will just have to one click to find out!!

Lead is a 5 star must read especially if you loved the first two books in the Stage Dive series. These guys are not your typical rockers anymore!! Lead will have you laughing one second and yelling at the main characters the next!  Once you start the book you will not want to put it down.

Happy Reading

Ember X ( Death Collectors 1) By Jessica Sorensen

Ember X is a 5 star read just like Jessica's other books!! Ember is the strange girl in the town and most people call her a murderer because right before her father diapered she called the police to tell them that he was going to be murdered. Ember acts strange because she can see the death of anyone that touches her and you would think this would be cool but it is driving her crazy.

Ember finds herself attracted to the two new boys in town Asher( I am team Asher) and Cameron. Both guys claim to not know the other but you can tell that the have some tension.  Ember finds herself caught up in the battle between angels and grim reapers! The only questions she needs to find the answers to are why is she involved and which sides do Asher and Cameron fall under?

Ember X is a great paranormal romance with twists and turns, and a start to a love triangle that you will pick sides on! Right now you can grab this book for FREE and the second book Cinder X (which I am reading next) is only like $2.99.

Nova and Quinton:No Regrets (Nova 4) by Jessica Sorensen

I love how Jessica gives us a REAL love story full of heart break and struggles not rainbows and unicorns!!
"Death. It's around more than people realize. Because no one wants to talk about it or hear about it. It's too sad. Too painful. Too hard. The list of reasons is endless."

At the end of Saving Quinton we were left wondering how Quinton was going to do in rehab. We get our questions answered in No Regrets! Quinton is worried about leaving rehab and his feelings towards Nova. Quinton is struggling with moving on from his past and feels like he is betraying Lexi by moving on in his life. At first he will not see Nova and they only talk on the phone.

Nova is struggling with things going on in her life. When things get to be too much she runs to Quinton for help. It is now Quinton's turn to return the favor and save Nova from herself. Quinton and Nova might not have an easy love story but they have a damn good one in the end.

This series just like Jessica's other series shows that love is not always easy but it is worth fighting over! I rate this with 5 out of 5 stars and is a MUST READ!!
Happy Reading!!

Delilah: The Making of Red by Jessica Sorensen

"The moment he took my hand, he owned me, which would seem amazing, except for owning someone and loving someone aren't the same thing."

If you want rainbows and unicorns then you should not read Jessica Sorensen's novels. Yes they have love in them but sometimes you have to go through hell to get to that point.

The Making of Red is just a free short story that goes with the Nova series but can be read as a standalone story but I would suggest reading the other Nova series books because they are very good!!

Only Jessica could make me go from thinking that Delilah is a total bitch to feeling sorry for her! Delilah started off with a good life but after her father decided that he wanted to go off and have another perfect family things went down hill. Her mother started sleeping around and not giving her the attention that she needed. Delilah was a quiet girl that was a great dancer until she meet Dylan.

After she meets Dylan she starts becoming Red. Delilah was not used to guys giving her attention because her mom got most of it so when Dylan starts giving it to her she doesn't know how to act. He changes her and not for the good. She gets into some bad stuff and even gives up her dancing. In the end we are left not really knowing what is going to happen to her but I hope that we find out in the other books coming out in the Nova series.

Jessica writes books that will make you appreciate the life you have. Like I said earlier you are going to get a REAL story where the characters go through hell to get the love they deserve. I love Jessica's books because you can find at least a little something to relate to. I rate this short story with 4 out of 5 stars.

RAW by Belle Aurora

I want to start off by saying I would so not mind for Twitch to be my stalker!!

This was a WTF did I just read kind of book but it is the good kind of WTF. This line sums up the book very well "Love is love. It don't discriminate. And it sure as fuck don't wait 'till you're ready for it."

Lexi knows she has a stalker but she tells no one about him. One night when she is attacked her stalker saves her and this is where we meet the tattooed and pierced Twitch. Twitch is an odd man but Lexi sees something in him. I know you probably think it is weird that she starts to see her stalker but there is something about Twitch that Lexi can't let go.

Twitch is very messed up and makes you very mad during the book. I am not going to give anything away about the ending so all I am going to say is that I have a love/hate feeling about the ending.

RAW is not a normal love story but love never comes in one form. This book is full of steamy moments, drama, and a ton of WTF moments but it is so worth the read. I rate this book with a 4 out of 5 stars!

Happy Reading

Song of The Fireflies by J.A. Redmerski

Song of The Fireflies is not your typical love story in fact it is one hell of a ride!

Elias and Bray have been best friends since childhood when Bray kicked Elias and told him that his face looks like her dog's ass lol. As they got older they both started to have feelings for each other but Bray was too scared to admit that she wanted Elias.

One night Elias talks her into trying to be something more than best friends but not long after that she runs away from him. Years down the road she comes back and things are going good for them until Bray does something bad on accident. Bray does not want to go to the cops so her and Elias run with makes them look guilty.

This is where the story gets interesting and crazy. While on the run they meet some interesting people and do some crazy stuff! After they get caught and go through some stuff they finally get their happily ever after.

This is not your typical love story but I loved it. Elias's love for Bray is what every girl dreams of. I rate this book a 4 out of 5 stars.

I am going to leave you with a quote by Elias that fits the book perfectly "love isn't roses and rainbows and butterflies in your stomach. It's equally cruel and painful and the world's worst villain."

Happy reading

Saving Quinton (Nova series #2) by Jessica Sorensen

I have not read one book by Jessica that was not a 5 star read and this one is no different. Jessica's books make you really think about how good your life really is and I would recommend them to anyone.

At the end of Breaking Nova we had found out that Nova was doing good and quit smoking weed to deal with her problems. She is doing good until she finds out that Quinton is doing bad and has moved up to Meth instead of Weed to deal with his past.

At the beginning of Saving Quinton we see just how bad he is doing. If you are a Breaking Bad fan like I am it is not hard for you to get the picture Jessica paints for us of his life. My heart breaks for him and I wanted to kick his father and aunt and uncle's ass so bad. It takes Nova a lot of research but she finally finds him. Can Nova save Quinton or will trying to save him drag her back down to her drug using bad place? You will have to read to find out because I don't want to spoil it! The only thing I will say is the ending killed me and I can't wait for Quinton and Nova: No Regrets to come out in April.

I love this series because it deals with real issues that people go through everyday. Everyone deals with stuff their own way and sometimes it is not a healthy way and not everyone has someone there to help them when they need it.

Happy Reading!!

The Destiny of Violet and Luke by Jessica Sorensen

Jessica has done it again!! This is better than the first two books in the series!! This line from Luke sums up the whole book "Everyone has their dark past. I have mine and, trust me, I'd be a fucking hypocrite if I judged you for anything you did."

We know from the other books that Luke hated to be home and he has a good Reason. His childhood was even worse than Cayden's and that is saying something. Violet also had a horrible childhood going from one bad foster home to another. Violet and Luke both do extreme stuff to forget or deal with their feelings.

They start to help each other and it looks hopeful until we are thrown a curveball that changes everything. The ending to this book killed me because it leaves you with a lot of questions that will not be answered until the next book later this year. I love Jessica's book and just like all of her other books I give this one 5 stars. Just a warning this is going to give you a major book hangover!!
