Making Faces by Amy Harmon

Making faces is a wonderful book that takes you on an emotional rollercoaster that you don't want to ever get off of!! I rate it with 5 out of 5 stars and would recommend it to anyone. Making Faces is about learning to love yourself and teaches you that love sometimes comes from an unexpected place.

 

 

Ambrose it a huge star in his little town and Fern is just an average girl that has a crush on him. Ambrose is beautiful and very athletic and never really gives Fern the time of day until the day before he leaves for the army. Ambrose had talked his four best friends into going in the army, so the five boys fresh out of high school set out on an adventure together.

 

 

Five boys went out into world but only one made it back. Ambrose was hurt very badly on top of feeling the guilt over his friends deaths. He refuses to see anyone other than his father until he runs into Fern one night on her way home from work. Fern helps Ambrose see that it does not matter that he does not look the same because he is still beautiful to her. Ambrose and Fern both help each other through some very rough times and come out with a very strong love in the end.

 

 

Making Faces is not my typical type of book but I still loved it. I ugly cried through a couple chapters but it is so worth the time to sit down and read!!

Rush Too Far by Abbi Glines

I have had a Major Rush Crush since this series came out so I was so happy when I found out that she was writing on in Rush's point of view. I loved to see what was going through Rush's head and why he did some of the things that he did. Reading Rush Too Far has made me want to go back and read this series over again.

 

This is going to be a short blog because it is just a retelling of Fallen Too Far and I don't want to give too much away. If you have not read this series you need to go on click because it is awesome!! I normally hate to have the story retold because I already know what has happened but Abbi makes this interesting and so worth the time and money!! I rate this with 3 out of 5 stars.

Shattered and Mended (Shaken Series) by J. Bailes

First off let me say you have to read Shattered and Shaken and All for Allie before you can read this book. I will try to conceal spoilers. Though, I don't promise anything because once I get started its hard to tell where I will stop! 

I waited impatiently for Shattered and Mended. If you ask Reva, she will tell you anytime a book was mentioned I would tell her how long I had to wait to get this one! I stalked Amazon yesterday when Julie hit publish a day early and started reading as soon as I got home from class. I had to start and finish this book before any homework could be started! 

So any who....

Before I start, I want you to know that I've been #TeamWyatt since I read All for Allie. He is just something special. Words can't really describe how awesome this book is or matter of factly how awesome this series is. 

Wyatt and Allie have a bond that will never leave, no matter how much Allie tries to ignore it, Wyatt is a persistent hunk and won't let her forget. The beginning of this book had me worried because it's a rocky time for him and Allie. Don't get me wrong, I love Blake and all, but he really got on my nerves. 

The bomb that was dropped on Wyatt has him taking matters into his own hands and I'm thrilled that he gets a portion of something good dealing with his daughter he didn't know he had. 

As we know from the previous books in the series, Allie is preggers. With not just one but two little munchkins. Things seem to be good for her and Blake but even he sees that he doesn't own her whole heart. 

Sophie is a conieving cunt and her true colors are revealed in this story. Unfortunately the ending for her isn't so well, and quite sad for the entire friend group. 

Allie and Blake faces a challenge in the end, but her and Wyatt end up happy...but the epilogue will have you saying whhhaaaat!!! 

This is definitely a 5 star must-have-it-now book. So make sure your one-clicking finger works right! Throughout the book it has majorly steamy sex that makes me a tad jealous! Lol. We will get Blake's story in 2015...so until then....
